I just got kicked out of an online homeschoolers group because I pointed out that the book most of them recommended for teaching history “from an evolutionary standpoint” had a distinct Christian bent and was insanely Anglo-centric, excluding almost any mention of the entire continent of Asia.
When I gently reviewed the book so that others on the list who feel as I do about human history would benefit without having to slog through the book themselves, I got a response that said: “Apparently you are unaware that the author died before finishing the book.”
Holy fucking shit!? Then why the fuck is it being used when it is obviously incomplete? Again, I calmly stated that I thought this was probably a mark *against* the book, not for it.
Then I was asked to leave the group because I was making others uncomfortable with my inability to accept facts.
Bwahahahaha! Later, bitches. I’ll send each of your children a free copy of the book that I am apparently going to have to write my own goddam self.
